i left the house this morning w/ a solid 1/4 tank of fuel and drove about 10min then my gas light came on. gauge needle was pegged past E. overhead also started flashing low fuel. i stoped and filled up and now my gauge wont go up past 3/4 even after filling completely full.

i guess my float in the tank went bad somehow. i have been running the airdog now for months and havent had any problems so far. i was also very careful when removing the canister/float from the tank during the airdog install as well because i know they can be easily damaged. but i think this is unrelated.

is this problem common at all, or am i the only one?

 

You might drop your tank and check it out. I know that when we did my initial Air Dog install the gauge read empty and the overhead was flashing empty or low fuel, turned out that when we put the float back in it got pinched somehow and was laying on the bottom of the tank. After we fixed that I have never had a problem with it. Just my .02
