Thumbs up

Im actually working on a custom stack setup with Dave at BCD. Great people and I would recommend you to just relax. It doesnt sound like they are late yet.
I do know that about a month ago they had a trailer of stacks that returned from the chrome shop and were declined for poor coverage, so they got behind a little on filling orders.
Have no fear, it will be there.

everything I needed for the stack on my truck I bought same day off the shelf at my local Peterbilt dealer. no waiting. all for about $250 I cannot at all understand why guys have to buy stack kits at an inflated price.

Yes I have bought from them. They say wait 3-5 weeks for the stacks. Read your receipt. They have excellent service. My bro bought the piping for a single 4" stack. Came in a week but they sent piping for a 5". 3 business days later (weekend involved) He got the right size piping. Great service and people!

I think it is because he is installing stacks not a stack. I am pretty sure that Peterbuilt is not going to stock y pipes that fit inside a pu bed.

Actually there is a halfway decent chance that Pete, Navistar, Freightliner etc. may have something that would work. You would only be looking for a 3" or 4" Y. They all make medium duty trucks and have the parts to support them. There is also a 'WYE' that performs as both a 'Y' and a resonator. It is universal and can fit virtually any chasis. Someone in a rush could also have a muffler shop, that handles 4" pipe, make the 'Y' then pick up the remaining parts at a local truck dealer.

Would a truck dealer have the 'Y' specifically listed for your truck - No. But with a little indulgence from the counter person you may find something that would work. Everything else is standard off the shelf parts - no big deal. Another good souce could be NAPA. They have some stores that are almost exclusively heavy truck but anything can be ordered from any store.

sure they had a 5" "wishbone" or "tee" or whatever you want to call the splitter. I just chose not to buy it because I only wanted 1 stack.

But like I said before they have every piece on the shelf that I needed to build stacks OR stack........

I don't know what they charge for a "kit" but I'd be willing to put money on getting it far cheaper at a truck dealership.

I'm just trying to get the word out there, to maybe save some guys some money and time. But hey spend whatever you want and wait 1-2 months for it.

and that y pipe from peter is 250 bucks; the 5" is atleast, so i can see why people buy kits, it is actually cheaper. unless you buy pipe and weld you own y pipe and other stuff............

I can tell you they're at least $200 to $400 more than any place else you can buy from.

I bought my GR stacks from a semi exhaust shop recommended to me buy GR and they were at my house within a few days. Weeks or months is ridiculous when there's are at least 5 other places to get them.
