I am wondering about stacking the MP-8 with my SMARTY. Does anyone have any feedback (positive or negative) on what I can expect. A friend of mine owns Circle W Diesel Performance here in Alabama, his truck is extremely fastand he has the same mods I have , other than the MP-8. My ride is an 07 5.9 , 5" turbo-back exhaust, AFE Bladerunner, Banks Cold Air Intake, SMARTY, and FASS 150.

 

you can expect more power! Seriously, the MP-8 is a pressure only box that compliments the smarty well. Read up here (you can use the search function) on DTR about them.. and welcome!

 

I believe you wouldn't be able to use that mp-8 to its full potential. It is a VERY strong pressure box, I believe most ppl don't pass 40% (?) on it. It plays well though and will give you quite abit more power.

I would also look into an X2, I hear they stack excellent and you may be able to use it more. I'm sure someone else will chime in about this, I'm not 100% sure on the mp-8 percentage.

 

i use the mp-8 on 100% when i race and i havent had a problem yet. 45% driving around town. power is good around town and awesome at the track.

 

I run beta 4.4 and mp-8 on about 70% every day, works great. On the dyno, just adding the mp-8 to the smarty gave me almost 80hp.

I don't have any input on the MP8, but I have stacked the X2 with my Juice/Attitude and another time with my Smarty. The X2 stacks really well too.

I'll second that. I think you're only the second member I've seen on here from Alabama.

 

What is the difference between the mp-8 and the ramifier. I have the ramifier and want to stack it with the smarty as I do it now with the BDDL.

 

Yep, I run that stack as well. MP-8 stays on 40 - 50% around town, and 100% on the dyno.

My first attemp on the dyno with this stack (and TST on 3/1) netted 568 h.p. and 998 torque. My stock CP3 sure wasn't liking it though!

I run a diablo power puck on mine for a little pressure. im not sure but guys said they add about 30 to the ground maybe. I tried the mp8 on my truck and I think it had a bad tune maybe so I removed it. as stated above I dont run mine much at all just if I get on the dyno or something like that.
