I'm looking for a good stack for my J/A. I would like to stay away from any more pressure. Is there any other than Smarty that add timming and durations? Thanks

 

The best thing you can do at this point is have it upgraded to the HOT version. Of course anything over the standard juice is going to require you to upgrade the lift pump.
If you do want to stack, I would do a 2micron filter set up when you do the lift pump and add some pressure with an mp8. That and the Hot Juice will put you close to 500hp. If you really don't want to do pressure, the Diablo Predator downloader works ok as a stack but not great. You have to be careful of too much timing which can actually be a lot worse than too much pressure. The great thing about a Smarty is that you can choose no timing programs to stack with, but it's a lot more expensive than a Diablo or mp8. At this point though, your biggest bang for the buck would for sure be the HOT upgrade. Just don't forget the lift pump.

 

I plan on getting a Raptor LP (Cant afford the Fass or Airdog) very soon and I already have the HOT upgrade just haven't changed my sig. Can I get a 2 micron set up with the Raptor? Hope your feeling better!!!

 

cincy, why no pressure? a good stack is the edge ez it does the pressure and the j/a timming duration a good stack not the most powerfull out there but smoothness and a no fuss combo.

 

I have heard that the smarty/juice stack was no good. Is it better now with some of the new smarty tunes?

 

Ive got mine stacked with the a Predator(DR.P) pressure box and it works good for me so far(33,000Klm), mind you i havnt had it set past lvl 3 on the juice cause my clutch slips to easy. But cant wait till i can!! It also works well for when iam towing.

 

Would the stack of a edge hot Juice w Att. + Mp8 work real good on an 03 the same as it works good on an 05?

 

No. The Juice already adds pressure on an 03.

 

Nothing but pressure, anything else you might as well turn it off or will be eating injectors or a motor. To much pressure will also be disaster also. Instead of wanting more boxes go ahead and spend your money on a new set of sticks, fuel system, turbo. To many chips, not enough mods= alot of probelsm sooner or later. Only thing I use my juice for is gauges or if I have the others turned off. I usually do larry with edge ez stack.

 

I don't agree with that - especially depending on the year of truck. The triple nickel motors love the juice/diablo predator stack. I now have mine stacked with smarty (for adjustability - not overall power) on my 04.5. You just have to be smart with your settings.

 

I'm just trying for more power without burning down a piston.

 

Lift pump, Rail pressure gauge, and mp8. But you really need a bigger turbo as well. You're currently at the point where you have to say you're satisfied, or you have to say you're willing to dump several more thousand dollars into it.

 

Satisfied. What is that? I am satisfied for about a week after I get a new mod, then I am over it and ready for something bigger and better!

Ok, so say a guy with an 03 has larger injectors, and an upgraded turbo would there be somthing that would stack well with the Juice w/ attitude?
