Comonrail- Is that hood and bumper cover prices close to what you paid? I have a non sport so what extra parts would I need for the cover? Does it just go over the factory chrome bumper? I dont think I will be able to aford it yet this year but I may sell my ATV that I never ride to play with the truck next year.
I also bought mine from Art @ Henson motors & that's the same price I paid. Shipping was ~ $150 from Tx to Co via FedEx freight., no additional shipping for the bumber cover. If I remember right, the Sport bumber support parts add about $400 more to a non-sport. I don't have the part numbers for the supports but Art does if you want to go that route. Painting & installation of everything was ~$700.

BK, I have only installed the SRT10. I had originally planned on purchasing a shortbed Hemi and the adding the SRT clone components, but opted for a 3500 Dually HO 6speed and am I glad I did. We just returned from a motorcycle race at Barber in Alabama and after towing a 24ft trailer, our bikes and equipment, that Cummins not only did not break a sweat but did not even breath hard during the 11 hour trip to Daytona.....

Soooo....you can't get 'just' the hood for a non-sport? What's the ballpark figure for painting the hood. I don't want the bumper, just want the hood..

Nice work commonrail. Now you just badly need some tint for those odd looking clear front windows

Looks cool!

Just curious - any of you guys actually have a SRT-10 truck? I looked at a black one on the dealer floor a couple weeks back and they probably had to come back behind me and wipe all the drool off of it. That thing is AWESOME!

The Xenon part number is 8720 for the flares. Some places like summit racing put a prefix like X or XEN in front of the 8720.

I've noticed where they are taped to the body, I have some movement that is scratching the paint for the backs so I may need to re-tape them.

As to a couple of the other comments, I haven't seen a real SRT in person, I'd like to get a good look at one to see how the brake cooler ducts mount with the bumber bracket. Anyone know where ther is one in Northern Co.?

I also agree with the window tint thing, just haven't done it yet.
