spray in liners???
spray in liners???
just wondering if anyone knows of other companies that spray in liners REASONABLY other than linex, rhino, or bullhide. all are good but either pricey or not in my area. linex and rhino wanted $1000 or more to do under the rail plus rockers..."sumner" put me onto bullhide, but they are in CO, with no dealers nearby...he defintely got a deal in his...
any contacts or info that i can track down would be helpful...

I have this brand in my truck. So far I like it fine. Seems to be holding up well. I really can't compare it to Line-x etc......as this is the only one i have had. Looks like they have at least one dealer in Ohio and a bunch in Indiana. Hope that helps.

I've used Line-x, Rhino and Full Metal Jacket. Line-x is the only one that doesnt get powdery after a couple of years in the sun. FMJ was teh worst about making black smudges all over everything. Rhino did it too, but Line-X never has. IMO its worth the money. Just get the bed and rockers done at different times. Also, call every LineX dealer within a reasonable distance from you. They'll have different prices. There are about 10 dealers within 30 miles of my house or office and they ranged in price from 435 to 500 for over the rail on a 6' box. It really sucks because 3 years ago I paid 389 for an 8' box.
The 03 I just bought came with a turbo liner over the rails. This stuff is pretty thick. It looks like the line-x. The bed has some pretty good dents but the liner dosent show any signs of coming up. I do have a few chips but im going to call the local turbo liner dealer to see if they can fix them.

I had mine done in Speedliner shortly after I got it, and it is out in the sun most of the time and still looks great. It is slightly softer feeling than some and not quite as slippery, but has proven to be really tough. I also like that the edges are done by pulling a wire up out of tape, so there isn't a risk of cutting into the paint.
I think it was $400 or $425 for over the rail.
I think having an installer who is experienced and does good work is more important than the brand of the product. The guy who did mine really did a nice job, and the owner says if I ever do manage to mess it up he would touch it up for free...

I had speedliner in my old truck, will never have it again! I think the prep work and how good it is applied makes a big difference. I've had two line-x jobs one was great the other had some problems
i've had bullhide in my '94 since new, it's by far the best we have, we also have line-x on 5 of our trucks, but it gets hard and bleaches out over time and doesnt keep things from sliding, but i'd go bullhide if you can find it, i just got my toolbed i built sprayed with line-x last week, they charged $700, because it had some difficult masking on it as well as inside the toolboxes, but they did a terrible job, already starting to lift in some corners, so we'll see, but bullhide is great, its a shame our dealer here closed a while back...
