So, are they still worth it??? Centramatics
Hey, been doing alot of research on here about the Centramatics. I noticed that most of the threads seemed to be awhile back. So, as of today those that are running the Centramatics, how are they performing? And are they really worth the money? Any other good info to pass on?

I'm very skeptical about paying the price for the centramatics and then they don't work. And I don't want the beads that go in the tire. Centramatic would be my route only if they do what they say they do. And using the centramatics, can you run them without having the lead weights on?
I run them with the lead weights on as I don't particularly care to remove them, but many have run them without the lead weights without any issues. I tried the beads and did not have any luck with them at all, not to mention the fact that I get a fair amount of flats and of course that becomes a bit of a problem. For me the Centramatics haved greatly helped keep the ride nice and smooth over the life of the tires (haven't really noticed extended tire life as they claim, but then again I installed them on the first set of tires so I really don't have any fair comparisons either). I have only heard of two people having issues with the Centramatics over the years, an neither of them bothered to return them for an exchange. As far as I am concerned they do what they claim.

Centramatics have tamed a two axle equipment trailer for me. It has really crappy out of round tires, which even Centramatic doesn't claim to handle. But with the Centramatics, it rides acceptably well at speed, which it didn't even come close to doing before I installed them.
No experience with them on a truck, though.
