A buddy of mine has an 01 7.3 with a chip and being a ford guy was a lot of talk about how fast it was. I set the bully dog on performance, lined up at the stop sign and let him have it. I beat him by at least 6 truck lengths. He shouldn't have had his window down. Gave him a big black cloud of smoke right in his face. Then he tried to tell me he engine isn't broken in yet. You know how many miles he has on it? 120,000!!! What a load of crap!
I love the power of these trucks.

 

HIS ENGINE ISN'T BROKEN IN YET? What a 'tard. If his isn't broken in at 120k, you may die of natural causes before yours is broken in. I'd just tell him "face it, you just got wore out by a 6 cylinder".

 

Ya that is a bullcrap excuse, but keep in mind there are psd out there that will straight up smack you, they do exsist.

 

The 7.3 is a good engine, without question. That particular guy on that particular day just didn't have enough from the way it sounds.

 

I wouldnt be to impressed about beating a 7.3, i had one, their turds LOL

 

Yeah I know there are psds out there that can beat muscle cars. I saw an excursion run low 12s at the strip one time. Dual exhaust pumping huge clouds of smoke behind it powerbraking. All I could say was "****!"

 

a buddy of mine had a 01 7.3 liter ford auto with supposedly a 150hp chip....i beat him by a truck length STOCK...totally stock. he was throwing smoke everywhere and i was bone stock!

now i don't have any friends that will play with me..i beat them all. theres a few guys around town with supposedly so awesome trucks but i have yet to meet them.
