Smarty, Upgrades to programs...can you go back?!?

For those of you with highly modded trucks. Did any of you download the new programs and if so which one and what were the improvements. Not interested in results that don't have bigger injectors, turbos, and or pump. Bob if you are out there please jump in.... Smarty #1 wants to be smrtr. Thanks, ks

I have ran the first version, then the second and now the third. I flat out loved the throttle response of the first version, but it fueled so hard down low when you went from part throttle to full throttle that it felt as though it put the flame out.

I now have the third update. I went with it because I had a major issue with SW#5 on update #2 and the truck flat out not liking it. Rattled like crazy at idle and worse on the throttle. However I found the truck is just as bad with update #3 on SW#5.

Marco is looking into it and going to take care of it for me. In the mean while I will most likely go back to update #2 . The throttle responce was better IMO with it than update #3. I am also going to try the different TQ management levels to see if it helps.

As for the old updates, I have heard you will be able to get any of them from Marco or Wagner. They are going to keep them on hand. I am trying to keep a copy on hand myself also for future needs for me.

lmills, I have my program stored on my laptop as far as I know...I had issues with my rare truck so Bob sent me the file back in the first few days...its like 278k of a compressed file. I just put a big paper BHAF back on..... 14"x 10" (AFE ) and the truck is back to being a rocket ship. In first gear 5psi to 39psi in under a second. 90 to 120 in about 2 seconds. And this on Smarty 1 and tst 1 with boost limited to 35 and pyro at 1350. I can't wait to crank these studs again and hit the dyno and run the strip. I still don't think I'll be able to run Smarty 9 with TST on 9/9 unless I dump alot more pure water into the system. I need to install another pair of nozzles. This port and polish has done wonders.....intake to exhaust boost is virtually 1 to 1 always and the s400 comes on hard at 20psi instead of the 35psi of the old days. All in all I absolutely love my truck!!! ks
