Smarty Upgrades??
I guess I was more concerned that the dealer may now be able to tell that I have used a programmer when I take it in. I read something about new codes from the factory? Does this mean that when I set my truck back to stock when I take it in for service there will be an obviouse tell that a programmer has been used?
For example:
I set my truck back to stock and take it in for servicing. Then Mr dealer updates the truck with newer software. I then use my smarty and set back to stock (with old factory settings programmed from the Smarty) for the next service job.
I probably made that as clear as mud!

If I'm not mistaken, when you go back to stock on your truck, take it in for an update at the dealer, and then go and reload your Smarty, it will take the newest version and lock it in the Smarty.
As far as I know, Smarty does not save any stock settings in it...once you put your truck back to stock the Smarty is no longer VIN locked.
Hope that helps.

When DC comes out with a new reflash, so does Smarty (based off of the new reflash)....once you're on version x of a flash (smarty or dc), you can't go backward with either one....so no worries.
