Just wondering if a i should update my smarty with the latest software. is there benifits to updating? I have the january software and i usually run on sw 5.power feels good, lots of smoke but lots of turbo lag(lost to a stock duramax but nobody could see because of all the smoke)
second question is can i read codes on my dads 98 24v with it?

Update will help w/ the smoke a little. I wouldn't sweat losing to that little turd of a truck, when you've got the beast that you do! You have the exact truck I'm trying to find.
