Talking Which Smarty Standard or POD?

As the title suggest? I'm looking at getting one in the near future & see that DTR has them both at the same price?

What do people think about the POD version?

Does anyone know if the torque remains the same if you decrease the percentage of the catcher level? For example running the 90hp setting at 66%, is it the same as the 60hp catcher level?

Also I know that you'll have less power at partial throttle positions, do you get full power when the peddle is fully depressed?

That's for the help!

The answers are no and no...

POD will take you down in power in a hurry (and back up again too). They are just relational numbers and not really a percentage. I play with it all the time but never below 60 (it takes too much power away at that point) and then it starts messing with shifting below 50.

It helps me with smoke control more than anything... I can keep it turned down until I need the power and turn it back up as I see fit.

The POD is a nice feature, the only catch is that you have to leave the Smarty plugged into your OBDII port in order to use the POD. I didn't want a cord between my legs or a huge clunky programmer laying around the driver area, so I opted for the less expensive non-POD Smarty. I just regulate the power with my right foot.

I don't see why you wouldn't want the POD one as it has more potential adjustment. My smarty has POD but I have not yet used it.
