smarty/quad stack

Hi fellas, got the chance to borrow a Smarty for the weekend. I loaded it into my truck, mods are in the sig.
Started with #5(90hp, added timing)cold engine, the timing rattle is really pronounced, but quiets down as she warms up. Smoke monster, tire killer, . No lag with my 62/14. Egt's are below 1100*

then gave it the quad @30,60, and max. Egt's still below 1300*. Clutch burner. Smoke filled the intersection, made me and the children laugh our rears off. even with 50psi of boost there still is grey smoke everywhere and egts did NOT get out of hand. the throttle response is INSTANT.

then went to #9(170hp with timing). Loud timing rattle, like a 2nd gen. throttle is really touchy, makes it fun to drive. Boost instant, smoke everywhere, clutch gone. Egt's stayed under 1400*. gave it the quad, there seems to be less smoke WITH the quad than alone.

This thing is downright FAST. If I had a decent clutch, I could really see what she'll do. After I upgrade my clutch to a SB con ofe, I will buy my own smarty, and really give a report.

I do not know what results would be with a stock turbo and L/P. obviously not the same power, probably higher egts, maybe drain the rail. Try one, just use restraint. Yeah right. Flog that thing like it was meant for. Thanks Bob.

the bond road intersection is still probably covered. we really let her have it.

even with all of all the power, it is still very driveable with no problems.

one thing the directions might want to include is when it is programming, all of the dash gauges go to Zero, the fuel low light and dinger come on, made me nervous the first time, but since I have set different levels a few times and it does it each time, I would venture to say that it is normal. Marco really did his homework. And Bob has got some of the best service I have seen.

even my wife thought it was great, not only is the smoke fun, but it really runs GOOD. sorry about your budget, but it is only money. cant take it with you, if you leave it to the kids, they'll just blow it themselves.
