I don't agree with your guy's assesment, but I will load a mild tq mngmnt program just in case. I'm pretty sure I'd know if the tranny was slipping. i've been around performance cars long enough to know the signs. The rpms stayed in check with my rate of acceleration. The shifts were firm and on time. And for boost, your SPS is wastegated, so you can set it to build 50psi. The Aurora isn't. It depends completely on how much fuel you feed it to determine the boost level.
I'd be curious if anyone has dynoed with just a SMARTY or SMARTY with a pressure box to see what hp figures were there. Right now, I'm guessing I'm getting 425ish to the ground vs 500 with the Juice.

I am dynoing on thursday (DJ and Mustang,) with the smarty, and then with the smarty and DR.P

The dynos i have seen thus far were 450-470 with "just" the smarty, and one feller was 505 with smarty, and a quad product.

So SMARTY and mp-8 or xzt should be making similar power to my HOT Juice and mp-8 or xzt. As advertised it should, but if those are numbers people are actually getting, then it really should. So something is wrong. Guess I'll just try a few different programs. I wish they didn't take 30 minutes to download.

TexasCTD on a stock auto with stock fuel system and turbo, exhaust, and intake, did 466hp and I wanna say 900 or a 1000tq with smarty on #9. Not sure which program he was running though. I think just the standard one that comes with the smarty when you buy it.

I believe TexasCTD is using the earlier 307D202B program.
Think his numbers was around 467hp and 922tq.

I experienced the exact same thing as you. Hot Juice/MP8 much better than Smarty/MP8. everything you have said about the smarty on your truck is VERY similar to how it acted on my truck. Not bashing the Smarty at all cause is certainly has some features that lots of other companies will never produce....but it just wasn't the ticket for me on my truck.

but what about the different programs like stock turbo/aftermarket injectors or aftermarket turbo/stock injectors or aftermarket both. You can do all those with any tq mngmnt level.

Ok downloaded the aftermarket turbo/injector program. It was better. Felt a lot better in 1st and 2nd but then faded in 3rd and 4th is still no comparison to the Juice. It picked up 3 tenths from the program for stock injectors. But at this point I am going to go a different route.

You got my curiosity up, so I went out and hooked up my Smarty to see what version I had. IT is the 303D202 version. I haven't updated since I got it in Late September/Early October.

While I had it out, I decided to try SW 8 just to see what the difference is, if I can tell it...without added timing. I have only run it on odd numbers so far.

TexasCTD,
My bad, thought you had the 307 program.
I can say that the 307 has more spunk than the new 309. But I do like the lower EGTs that the 309 brings.
With the 307 I could easily hit 1300 degrees on a WOT run, 309 is 1100 degrees. Both set at level 5.

BTW, love the Colt 45D video...
