You need to put your little blue truck on a Dyno Jet and see what it is REALLY putting down... No inflated mustang numbers...
Oh don't you worry. I've got a sneaky suspicion that I'm still beating you old man.

Robert,

I have the 48RE...It used to pull a 5th wheel though, so that prolly adds to the demise of the OD. I am planning on having her built in Feb. I have no worries right now, cause Streetsmoker has my SMARTY. haha, whether or not he knows it, he prolly saved my tranny for me by borrowing it.

Hey I have been driving around on SW#9 everyday now for 2 months and that with the orignal programing.

I think you HP's numbers are a little optimistic. Granted I have a less powerful 04 and I only laied down 380HP with a Smarty on #9 and a sps66. My clutch can't handle going WOT at anything below 1900rpm so I know im loosing HP there.

I love my Smarty and it spools my big single really well and it actually preforms better at #9 then #5. I mean my clutch is happier on the higher levels because it gives it so much power and decreases TQ man. that it spools and accelerates much easier then on the lower levels and this was also the case with the stock turbo.

I believe thats moderate torque management. remember once upon a time that Smarty was on my truck.

I believe we know a good tranny guy thats where my truck is right now.

................

I thought that on the 03 and 04 trucks that SW 8 and 9 was not available to it? OR that it only made the same power as level 7 or something like that.

I trust my dyno numbers....280 stock in July 05, 277 in April 06..same dyno but with air/exhaust only mods. And 397 on a different dyno jet with Smarty level 5.

I did dyno on a Mustang dyno on April 1, 2006 and it gave me way inflated numbers.....and caused me to not trust them. That is why I went back to the same dyno Jet in April 06 to verify the numbers...and it was the same as stock with no box/downloader on it.

I need to redyno again with it on SW 9...but I am sure it will break 450.

I don't know with Smarty on the truck.....but mine were way inflated on a Mustang with just air and exhaust only. Like 330hp. That wasn't right. and the DynoJet verified it.
