maybe they did the fix where the advertised power is what it makes so thats why it just didn't feel as good to me. Like i said in some previous posts, it might of just been me, but i do like some smoke, so in the revo i had hardly any smoke and the sotp wasn't there.

alright well in that case it should smoke the most then right, i am loading revo back on now and will just see for myself, i now know how my truck feels

4 being the most advance should yield the least amount of smoke... amount of smoke also depends on what torque management youre running

alright so if i am running default tqm and #4 timing then it should be the most power and the most smoke. But i will see for sure in about 15 minutes when its done downloading onto the smarty jr

A little timing may clear up some smoke, but alot of timing may increase smoke.

i wouldnt necessarily say that. if you look on the MADS website about the revo, it states that smoke during driving conditions is a result of tq management. all torque management is is low end fueling... too much low end fueling, results in heavy smoke. so add timing with alot of low end fueling, you may get alittle smoke but they should balance themselves out.

Somewhat true if you were talking about tm.I was just referring to timing.Timing is great to an extent, but too much is too much.
