The smarty and smarty jr. are manufactured and programmed in Italy. Smarty Jr. will be in stock next week

Marco,
Thanks for answering my questions.

I guess I was trying to say does it deliver 40,70 and 100 Hp over stock. Some times I make things more complicated than they need be.

Marco,

On question #7, does this mean it's going to be equivalent to the stock torque management in the regular smarty ?

That would differ for each individual truck so you really can't give a good answer for you. I can tell you regular smarty gave me 2 mpg more over stock.

To All interested in Smarty jr. :

I'm running the 100hp Smarty Jr. tune the next few days and will give some feedback. Stay tuned...

Will this create a good cloud of smoke for wanting to h ave a little fun with a buddies powerstroke?

This seems to be the programmer for me.

Want something the dealer cant see, I wont have to install gauges, can tow, get improved performance and mpg, and the best of all simple to use.

How nice will the 30hp setting be when pulling 3-5k lbs?

I would imagine they will have some tunes available but not the wvariety of the sr I think that those interested in that fine of tuning would probably rather the sr and are also willing to pony up the extra cash

smarty jr

I was wondering if this would stack better with my hot juice than the regular smarty does?
Thanks, Brian.

"The horsepower settings have a modified "Torque
management" ( TQM ). The throttle response is greatly
improved but is set to a save limit. With "Save" I mean save for
your tranny and rest of the driveline."

Are the Horsepower gains based on the HO engine, do the 235 or 250 hp engines see larger increases as with the original Smarty? Also since this is more of a daily driver / towing program, what are torque numbers in the 1800 - 2500 range? Thx BP.
