I have been made aware by several members that an unscrupulous vendor was attempting to sell Smarty's to our members here that are on the preorder list. He was Spamming people via PM and has since been banned from the site.

This person is NOT an authorised vendor to sell Smarty's.

If you have been contacted by him or any other vendor, please let me know.

This person called me and asked that I pass along his apologies to each of you that he contacted. He did not actually intend to SPAM anyone, he just wasn't aware of the rules and made a mistake.

On a personal note; I believe him and he seems to be very sincere. A rare thing to find in the "not wanting to take the responsibilty for anything" world we live in today.

I see on other posts that they are now shipping. Will we be PM'd or given instrustions to complete an order?? Patiently waiting for instructions/information.

 

Yes you will be contacted by me as soon as they are available for shipment. The first shipment that arrived in the US was VERY small and barely scratched the surface of orders.

Once the next batch gets here, you will be dealt with in the order of the list.

 

We will be needing 2 One for an 04(early model) auto and one for an 05 auto. both 4x4's.

Lary and Bob are great to deal with. I jumped on the list quickly (#1 with a bullet) and stayed the course on the DTR list. Bob shipped the unit directly to me and it got to me when promised. I will be dynoing it once I get my POS FASS working well enough to dyno. I haven't installed it yet and when it is up and running I'll do a detailed post. On a sidenote (no high jacking intended) Diesel Dan went on here and touted this campaign to offer a deal on a new motor and tblock for only $300. I've talked to 4 dealers and none Know about it and none have inventory with the new motors or T-blocks. After 4 weeks of trying, I'm PO'd and that is an accomplishment. I will give Diesel Dan a chance to find me a working pump...I bought a FASS 150 less than a year ago that would operate at 18 to 22 psi and I now have a FASS 50 that will deliver 15psi with dual tank feeds and a 40psi spring. FASS is close to being FOBS. $300 to fix an inherent problem with a product is ridiculous. ks
