Dude, do a search on here. There are a lot of posts about it. IMO, the silencer ring helped a little after the airraid filter, but after the intake tube was removed, she whines like a Peterbilt!!http://www.genosgarage.com

I took mine out with two small flathead screwdrivers.
I tried with one but two made it real easy
