I am still trying to completely understand the photos. It looks like the flywheel needed to be closer th the trans. The South Bend flywheel looks like the hub is meatier on the engine side, moving it towards the trans. Is that true? And what exactly is a starter spacer?

I got a another truck with the G56. I saved my superchips & K&N intake for this truck. But I am afraid to put the superchips in because in my 04.5, the stock clutch went slippidy-slip asap. And I am really paying attention to G56 hipo clutch info.

Thanx.

MIBA ( pronounced MEBA with a long E ) is the name of the material the clutch disk was faced with. That is really slang though. In reality the company that produces that particular material is named MIBA. But in the states we call almost any facing that is made from them "a MIBA facing".

They are an Austrian based firm and make high quality products.

Back to the top, you guys NEED to see this before you damage your truck by buying a clutch that does not fit your vehicle properly.

Robert, I was just wondering where you bought the clutch, and if you have said anything to them about it yet?
