Shift kit for 04 Hemi

I know this probably doesnt belong here, but I thought this would be the best place for it since its 3rd gen. Anyway my dad has a 04 Ram Hemi 4x4 with the five speed auto and I would like to get him a shift kit for christmas, anyone know of a good company, plus is this a good idea seeing this truck is his daily driver? Currently the truck only runs a gibson exhaust, and ram air intake. Thanks

Just go to your local tranny shop and they will set you up.

B&M stage II will crack the drums. TransGo is about $75 and easy to install.

Just be careful, shift kit on a stock tranny with miles (especially a TransGo kit) can sure tear it up...

those wonderful new firm shifts and lockups might be carnage-inducing on the tired internals!

He's probably fine... if it was another 100K, irregular fluid changes, and heavy-duty service - then it might not work out so well.
