Dumb question. Are the head studs you are talking about just replacements for the stock head? Or, is there something more to it? Sounds like an easy replacement job to me - just removing the old stud and putting a new one it. Does this require the head to come off the truck?

its hard-er anyway. My good friend does the work...and we encountered problems. clearance, removing of the valve cover and intake rockers, etc...not a 2 hour project. Not to mention standing on your head for hours. torquing is no fun either!

 

Cannot wait to get my Scarry Larry, it will be real soon.

 

Im going to get my scary larry soon but cant you take you scary larry, replace it with the regular files on your computer(regular crazy larry) then take the Scary larry and send it through email?

 

How do you upload a program from the Triple Dog to your computer?

Well on my home from the shop last night i did one WOT run...and heard a funny high pitched noise. That noise was oil spraying out of the back of the head. One of the stud nuts had to be machined down for proper clearance of the spacer and the valve cover. She is up and running fine this morning...except a fresh coat of amsoil covering the underside of my truck.

I don't think there is a way to upload the Scary Larry program from the Triple Dog to your computer..and then email it. Am I wrong?

crazy larry is rated at 180hp, Scary Larry has shown on the dyno (not by me YET) to add 260-280 rwhp. Thats a big difference.....

Awesome guys...well Nathan is. Call and talk to Nathan and deal with Nathan. They progorammed it and got it in the mail the same day they received it. Should have been taken the whole process from my house to michigan and back 48 hours but UPS messed that up.

same tripple dog. same box. just new program. and a heck of a program it is!

 

My truck runs low 13(13.0-13.2) - high 12's (12.9x) with the Scary Larry alone. No other power adders. With the other chips I wouldn't gain very much because the cp3 couldn't keep up.

Maybe my truck is just odd.
