What is the difference?

 

With the Power on Demand you can adjust your power level from 1-99 on the current SW you have loaded into your ECM...1-9.

Works well if you daily drive a modded rig...

Example: You have SW 9 loaded.

You are driving in traffic, and you DON'T want to be smoking out people, so punch 35 on the Smarty...

It may be less power than stock and everyone around you is happy that you are not blacking out the joint.

Once you get out of traffic and onto a back road somewhere with NOBODY around, punch 99 on the Smarty...

You have full power within seconds, and you are happy!

The only downfall I've noticed, is the Smarty must be plugged in at all times, and it's kinda bulky.

Not a huge complaint, tho!

 

S-POD rocks!

It fits nicely within the lower center seat storage, so it's hidden yet easily accessible while driving... cable tucks neatly into both stick & auto trucks.

 

The POD is very nice to keep smoke down and it helped me gain about 1 mpg in the city. I drape the cable up over the steering column and the Smarty sits in the tray next to the 4x4 shift lever.

I've also noticed that if I load anything over mild TM, the [auto] tranny shifts are a little harsh and the lower POD settings help smooth out the shift.
