I am looking for retractable running boards for my 2005 Regular Cab 2500 4X4. I have been able to locate ones for the quad cab, but not a regular cab. I found sidewinder retractable steps but the weight limit is 350. I am 6'2" 325lbs.......That's getting close to the limit. The power running boards I found for the quad cab have a 600lb limit. Can anyone offer suggestions???????? I plow snow, therefore I like the retractable ones that tuck up nice and neat under the truck vs. running boards that hang low.

I have not seen the power step running boards for reg cabs. They may make chev reg cab ones looking at thier website.

I would call bestop directly and see wha they say.

if not call sidwinder directly and see what they say about the 325lbs. chances are if they rate it to 350lbs faliure is not unitll like 400lbs most enineering firms are going to build in some margin. someone in there techical department could proably help you there.

I only wieght 230 but have some friends in the 280 range and have not had problems yet with the sidwinders.
