I just got the brake light in and installed it last night and notice that the cargo light stay all the time. Anybody else notice this on there truck.

 

ok made mistake just found another thread about this maybe I need to look a little harder next time.

 

Yeah, i thought the same but if you watch it it will eventually turn off. I don't see what purpose it serves though, it ain't very bright. Does yours try to leak water in from the top? Mine seeps water into the housing seal, but doesn't allow water into the housing as of yet.

 

I hope not has not rain yet just install it last night.

 

mine also stays semi lit after i shut things down. after a couple minutes it goes out. Is there a capacitor in there on them? maybe if there is and the LED's draw so little current, it takes a bit of time to discharge the capacitor? just thinkin out loud here.

 

that sounds logical, cbrahs. All in all, it shouldn't be an issue to worry about.
