Rear Lifts

I have a question for you guys that have lifted the rear of your truck as well as anybody that has taken out the rear spacers on the spring pack. I'm lifting the front of my truck 4.5 inches and the rear 3 inches (I like a little rake) however the only blocks they sell are 4 inchs x 3 inches wide. So I'm too high, however the factory little blocks are an inch. I was thinking of just taking these out and putting the blocks in (which will save machining of the blocks) how do these come out? Are they just bolted to the leaf spring, or are they just in there like a regular block?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Tom

They are bolted through the spring pack with the tie bolts. When I did my Kore install I put in there mini-pack, removed one spacer, and added an 1 1/2 block. It looks perfect to me. It worked out to 1 1/2- 1 3/4 inches of rake. I think stock is about 2 1/2".
BTW We have the same truck!

Thanks for the reply. I will most likely take out the spring spacers then if that's the best way to go. I wasn't sure how hard and the way the perches are you don't have to cut the bolts (like I did on my bronco) Thanks for the help. I love this truck, you'll have to get a picture up so I can see yours.
