Question Ramzilla Transmissions.
Any know anything about the Ramzilla 48re i might want to know about?. says it good for over 1000 lbs tq. Cost a little over $4k. Im trying to reach an eventual goal HP of 800. Whada think?

If you want 800hp then you will be waaay over 1000ftlbs of torque

thats what i figured. who makes a decent trans that will hold enough power. how much of a trans ami going to need, all billet shafts, flex plate, converter?

YEP, yep, you'll need all that. Then you'll need the pocketbook to fix it when you break it w/800hp and 1500+ftlbs of billet tranny rippin' torque!

Goerend, DTT, HTS, NADP, Suncoast, lots of possibilities. Call them up and tell them what you want to use the truck for and your power goals
