Ramifier

I just ordered my Ramifier. Three of the guys I work with have them and love them. They say the fuel milage is in the mid 20s average combined driving conditions. (I didn't see this web site until after ordering) Anyone else have any similar experiences?

Someone said they had some problems with the auto slipping , but thats the only negative thing I have heard. I have stoped by the T/S shop several times . They are very friendly and answered all my questions. It is my understanding that the box will work best if you stop by and let them custom tune it to your truck , but its not required. This box seldom throws codes. I would recommend at least an egt gauge to be safe.

Thanks, I hope this doesn't happen. (I don't pull anything yet). I will pay attention to the shifting to see if it's slipping. Where is the T/S shop?

I did a search and found TS is located in Bowling Green, KY. I might have to take a day and let them tune it.

The mileage sounds a bit high unless you sit in absolutely no traffic. Many of the boxes cause false high readings on the overhead so make sure you calculate it by hand.

Had the same box in my truck and the torque converter clutch will slip. It only does it in o/d with the converter locked at 1300-1700 rpms. You will definately notice it. Also you better have some gauges in your truck, egts will max at 1400 and 43 lbs of boost. You will definately like the power though, get it in third with the converter lock and hang on. It seemed to me that the loose stock torque converter was wasting alot of power. My truck would never go below 2500rpms with the pedal to the metal in 1st and 2nd. Looks like us 600 guys are just going to have to bite the bullet and get converters and valve bodys. I just ordered the suncoast kit, hope it comes in soon.

I'm starting to have buyer's remorse. I'm still waiting for the Ramifier and I also got the AFE intake although not the PG7. I guess I'll have to buy some more goodies. I thought the milage sounded too high. Right now I get 14.2 combined (foot is in it all the time!) and 23 @ 55mph. If I drive 75 it drops to 17.5. I need to do a manual calculation to see if it's close to the computer. I checked today and I'm running 2150 rpms @ 70 mph. (4.10).
