I have heard alot about railcaps of late. Is this just when you take out the pressure relief valve and cap it off. If so it sounds kinda crazy. The way of my thought process is if you dont have a relief valve then what is going to releave the stress? Enlighten me please as I am getting ready to play with the fuel system

 

Short term +, long term -. The effects of extremly high injection pressures will take a toll on your fuel system after time. Your fuel system will have dangerously high fuel pressure spikes that over time will tear things up, We need a pressure relief valve in the system but we need a more reliable and one that will stand up to countless openings and closings, unlike the stocker that is wiped out after just a few cycles.
