Question for 03-04 rigs with Banks
In the past they offered an enlarged cast elbow post turbo that they marketed as a "monster elbow." This part does not look like it's available for the 3rd generation trucks. Do the 03-04's come with a larger post turbo elbow from the factory?
Does the Banks system bolt to this factory elbow?
How about the Hog system for these 03-04 trucks, does it neck down to connect post turbo or is it a full 4"? I know prior to '03 they necked down.

well the stock elbow is a 3.5" into 4" , so the question is is this replacement banks elbow a true 4" inside?
Tcb, just so we're clear - the banks system includes a new elbow- so the banks system bolts directly to the back of the turbo? Thanks!

the 03s and 04s have identical cast iron elbows which are 4" and reduce to 3.5". the banks monster exhaust eliminates this elbow on both model years.
do you REALLY think DC would spend the money to change the design of the exhaust -- DC couldn't even "foot" to make the cargo bed out of something other than "paper" and they "forgot" to install rear wheel wells.....don't get me started on the corners cut on this rig. >
