Is the quadzilla a good mileage box, I am not looking for huge amounts of power, just some better mileage. I have heard guys on here say that you're better off getting the more powerful module the 30-60-100, than just the 65 horse chip, because the price between the two is very close. My question is, I have an afe stage 2 and gauges all installed and working, will the 30-60-100 horse chip hurt my 48re tranny, will it put too much strain on it? Or is it a safe chip to use?

Also, I have noticed recently my tranny really likes to hold on to 2nd and 3rd gear, mainly 3rd, I sometimes wonder if it will ever shift into 4th, I mainly noticed this after the dealer did the mileage reflash, and I don't think the 35" tires helped the situation, anyone else experiencing long drawn out shifts with their 48re? Is it normal? Don't get me wrong it does'nt slip or anything, just seems to take forever to shift into the next gear? Guy's tell me what you know.

I have the same rig.Check my sig.I don't have a box yet,but I think I lost a little power when I got the reflash,& the Pinion setting for the 35" tires caused my truck to linger in lower gears too.I'm going to swap out to a set of either 285,or 295/70R17's soon.I noticed that it takes more throttle input to get the same results I used to get before the reflash.It could be a different "governer" ramp setting with the flash,or It really detuned the engine.I won't know 'till I load up to go hunting in a couple weeks.
