So I have on the truck now a set of bd twins. They just are not keeping the truck cool with the fuel that im putting to it. My question is, I am considering selling the twins to run a single and once again be able to hook? Or?, do I upgrade the bottom to ?something? and just like the fact that I can only drag race? I guess actually what I'm wondering is, is their a single out there that will keep a heavily fueled truck cool?, or are my stuck with the twins? And, if there is a single, what is it??

Sorry, I don't have that much experience with twins (none).

 

I believe that you are able to upgrade the BD towing twins to BD race twins just by switching out the bottom turbo. Call BD and find out how much to upgrade....or you can do this upgrade

 

The BD twins are a great set of towing or lite play twins. To maximize their ability you need an aftermarket intercooler, a smoother intake flow, and a water jet or two....those twins with the above should make 600hp at play all day or tow at 450hp and keep it cool...provided you are using a cool running programmer like Smarty...and efficient injectors like Flux 1.5's to 2's. I am installing my BD twins in the dually and it is just to be used for towing heavy and embarassing my buds. KS
