They mount and touch the "inside" of the frame rails.
I assumed they mounted to the outside of the frame rails.
Yes, lots of clearance to the superglide brackets in the inside.
I'm ordering a pair this week.
How is the ride with your 5er all packed up?
Better than before the airbags?
Softer ride or about the same?

I'll let you know if I do anything earlier.
Just ot let you know I only paid $215 for Ride-Rite kit. It took me about 3 hours to install them. The instructions are real good and they are correct. The only thing you will have to do, maybe, is lossenup the spring shackles to install the bed plate for the air bags. Even thou my truck was over a year old they came loose without any problems.
