Yeah i know im beatin a dead horse Sorry bout that. Im just not real familiar with the 3rd gens. I know a lil bout the 12valves but not much about these new common rails. I think hes kinda set on a Edge w/ attitude. What seems to work best with that? Ive heard really good things about the smarty

Stay away from smarty. They are very agressive and unless you have a built tranny it will do more damage than good. They have yet to come out with a good streetable program. Also does your friend have an early 03? 6spd or auto? S.O or H.O These things will come into play

Edge Juice/Attitude is a good all round pick. tons of safety features make it look very appealing. Go for it.

I tried the original smarty software and hated it. I hear good things about the new software and i will find out this weekend when i pick mine up. I'll be using mine to stack with a Hot Juice/Attitude.

I do agree tranny upgrades are a must for the Smarty.

I would definately recommend the juice over a bully dog,, much more impressed with the juice when i run one or the other by themselves. But beware, if you run in full out mode and pull heavy things, you will need tranny/clutch work before too long.

Thanks for the info fellas. Much appreciated. He had a dmax and he sold it and bought this dodge. Not sure if its on early or late 03, just know its an 03. It is a 6 spd, but hes plannin on orderin a southbend FE in the near future. Hes got a lil money left over from his trade and hes wantin to do some mods.

The "good streetable program" has ( have ) been released about 10 days ago.
They ( two of them ) are ready for download on our web site.
