Hey all, I have a 05 2500 auto 4x4 with only 25000 miles. I don't want a hot rod and I dont want to change the exhaust. I made my own CAI with an afe filter. All I am looking for is a little more power and better mileage. What would be my best bet for a programmer and monitor system? I was leaning toward the edge juice with attitude but I don't know. I need some experienced input. Thanks.

i'm also new to the cummings diesel. i also was thinking of installing the edge juice w/ att. for the convienance of having digital read outs on 1 single face plate vs having to install guages. anyone else out there using the edge?

I have the Edge with Attitude and have had no problems with the unit, couple of years now. Love the flexibilty of the power levels, built in turbo timer, and the monitor. Yet I'm not sure it's the best programmer out there for mileage, I'm sure other will chime in with their favorites. The Edge at the time I bought it, was a good all around programmer, now the Smarty seems to win by a landslide. It all depends on what you want for a end result, it seems we all start with wanting better mileage and then the power bug hits us.

 

the edge and the smarty are 2 totally diferent animals,the smarty is a programer and the edge is a module,for programers the smarty is pribaly the best for 04.5s and up and for modules the edge seems good and quadzilla makes some good stuff too.if u dont have gauges and u dont want to hot rod then a module with built in gauges is a nice way to go,
