Programmers

Just bought an 07 3500 DRW. Just wondering what programmers are recommended or the best. Thanks for any help.

Smarty is your best bet. If you decide to keep your truck mild, you can take it off and it is COMPLETELY undetectable at the dealership.

If you decide to go wild, its works great as well...

Don't quote me on this. But I hurd there is no diff. between 06-07. As long as it is an 07 built before 1-1-08. The 06 programmers should work on it. But before I tried one, I would call the programmer manufacture and ask if it is compatible.

There is literely 10+ programmers out there an everyone had a different opion on them. Try looking through the pages of threads here and try a Search on any specific one. There are litterely thousands of threads on various ways to electronically add HP.

You need to decide what your level of involvment will be and how far your willing to go. Adding HP isnt as easy as you may think. Everything to do to your truck will have an adverse effect on something else. Your tranny wont hold much over 60HP+ and EGT will be an issue as well

Not to mention your warranty will most likely be void if you choose anything other then a Smarty programmer.

Goodluck and try the Search feature
