Procomp x terrain tire

Anyone have any opinion on these tires. Some of their sizes are e rated.
How do they hold up on the highway, etc. ?
Good/Bad experiences?

thanks Jamie

I have ProComp's extreme a/t's and they are "E" rated. They have been holding up good so far.

I had the xterrains when they first came out on my old chevy. they perform well both on the highway and in the mud and dirt and sand. They were great tires and I put about 30k miles on them with minimal wear other than slamming on the fenders when I would jump it.

I'm talking about the X Terrain tires (E rated), not the Extreme All Terrain tires. I was told today by a guy at a 4x4 shop that they (Xterrain) do not hold up for more than 20K and they are a waste of money. He then talked highly of and tried to sell me, the Nitto Terra Grappler(D rated).

Also for all the above mentioned tires, I'm looking for what will give me the most life , due to traveling for my job. Opinions and facts alike please. So far it's a toss up b/t the three tires mentioned so far.
Terra Grappler.
Procomp X Terrain.
Procomp X All Terrain.

I need the truth so it can set me free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My buddy has 38" Nitto Terra Grapplers on his 04 Ram 2500. He'll probably get a total of 40,000 miles out of them when they're worn out. Not bad for a big huge off road tire on a lifted truck.

I have Nitto's mud's with 15,000 on them and they still look new. As for the X terrains they will last more than 20,000 if you rotate them every 5,000. A friend of mine has X terrains 37/13.5/17 and he's going on 30,000 with a lot of thread wear left on them. As for the highway noise level its quieter than my Nitto's.
