I have an '03 6 spd. I took it to the dealer to have the computer reflashed. The Bully Dog said that there were two new TSBs out for my truck that weren't installed so I returned the truck to stock and had it reflashed. Took it out to a friends house. He took the silencer ring out for me. I started to download the Bully Dog again and it said the program was outdated. Installed it and it seems like it doesn't want to run above 2k rpms. Returned it to stock again. Same problem. Do I need to put an intake on my truck? I know I need to update the version but Bully Dog's page won't load. Must be having problems with the site.

 

Something isn't right. Did your friend hook everything back up properly after removing the silencer ring? Especially the sensor mounted on the air cleaner cover?

I thought he did. I will go check before I leave for work. I didn't think he took it loose. He loosened the clamp at the turbo, and took the bolt off up on the core support and pulled the whole thing out. It runs fine til it gets above 2k rpm.

 

Thanks. It was unplugged. Haha. I bet that fixes my problems.
