predator switch help!!!

..........predator Switch Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i just got a switch for my predator and im a bit confused. the switch itself says "on off on" right on it.and the plate with the sticker says" tow performance off ". And the switch when its in the middle says its off but when you put it in the bracket it would be on performance setting.
