I own a 2004.5 ram 3500 srw quad cab I bought a diablo predator went to install and it says my vehicle is not in database, so I buy all the crap to hook it to my computer install the update and I still get the same problem! I'm a little bent that this thing isn't working I need help with this please.I also would like to know if theres anything better because right now I'm tempted to send it back.

My brother had the same problem (vehicle not in database). Diablo said he just had an out of date programmer, and that they would email him the updated software. Well, they never did even after he called them back and asked again, HE WAS SERIOUSLY THINKING OF SENDING IT BACK. He finally went to the web site and downloaded the latest software he could find. He hasn't had a problem since. He has also done the same thing with my fathers truck. Diablo wasn't any help but thier box is pretty good.

 

get rid of it. there are many things better. I had a Bullydog Downloader and it was sweet, and on the 90hp setting EGT's didnt get hot at all.

 

I'd try to get it updated again. In my opinion (take it for what it's worth), the money spent on the Diablo is well worth it. Not only do the tunes really make serious power, but the ability to upgrade via internet, view real time data such as rail pressure, boost, air temp, and about a hundred or more things, make it money well spent. ($320)It's a deal at twice the price, imo. There are so many things this thing can do, I'm not even scratching the surface yet...

 

I had hell with mine for about four weeks they could never get my truck into the data base..... My bully dog works fine now.... I sent the predator back and still have not been paid back yet they will have an ear full by friday if my card has not been credited get rid of it bully dog rocks.. and yes i updated it multiple times

 

Mine has been great. I haven't had any problems. I still haven't updated it yet. But I'm not in a hurry 'cause it's working fine. My truck finally has the power of the 600's now.

 

You dont need to update it if its working properly. the r-19 is only if the programer wont program the viehicle. Other then that extreme is the highest level of power at this point. I just e-mailed diablo.
