dayum 315 tires with 355 gears...... no wonder ya got a box for more powah.... and a CA truk to boot did you get the truk recalibrated for speedo ? I had predator in my top three when looking, they looked good but when I finally found a good price it was on an EZ.

Question Dr. Performance level 2?

I got a Dr. Performance Level 2 from my DC dealer with a 30 day return money back if I don't like it. He said he will still cover my warrenty because if things go overboard it will back off on the fuel and boost. Do any of you guys have any feedback on this chip? I like it because it is fairly safe to run without all the guages. It will protect the engine by backing off on the fuel and boost with its programming if the egt goes over the limit. Seems to have helped the milage and has picked up the short term performance. Anything I should watch for? Feedback on my choice will help me decide before my 30 days is up!

I have a stage III predator and I have had no problems. You hear alot about the edge juice because thats one of the most advertised. I'm sure it is a great programmer. I've read some threads on this site and others wrote by people who have never had A Dr. Performance module and they talked them down pretty hard. It increased my fuel mileage by 3 miles per gallon, and I don't know yet where to get it dyno'd but I plan on doing so as soon as I do. It definately increased the power a great deal. When I bought it the guy that plugged it in wanted to go for a ride, I held the brake down and run it up to about 2000 RPM's and boiled the back tires. Needless to say I was pretty impressed. I paid $500 for it.

Thanks MR mean,
So far I like it! It definetly picked up on the performance end!(a level 3 must kick butt) I'll know more on the milage when I fuel it up the next tank. The overhead looks better but we all know that can be a curve ball! You don't even know it is there until you throw some throttle at it. I'm not a racer I just wanted a boost in milage and pulling power. I didn't want to do the gauges. They take as much money, and lot of thinking and digging to get a sanitary job out of it. The box is the easiest upgrade!
