There was another post about a week ago, someone bought their stage 1 Predator and was very displeased with the results.

I called their factory yesterday and the very nice lady gave me the number to their people in Texas where its made and programmed. Supposedly the box does not boost fool, it does not increase fuel pressure above 24,000 but does change the "PLUME" and changes when and how the injector is opened. Oh and it doesn't screw up the MPG readout. Too good to be true? Maybe.

He was supposed to send me some dyno results, but they didn't show up at my FAX yet. I wont even consider this until I see some facts behind it.

I tried to search on the "Dr*Performance" like Shovelhead suggested, found only one post. Obviously there is some bad history. Maybe the bankruptcy refered to made them change their ways?

I've heard that their products for the 3rd gen Dodges are better than their products for the 2nd gen Dodge.

All I'm going to say as well.

Except for:

Yes, welcome to the DTR.

You might want to fill out your signature so people know what generation truck you are talking about.

Signature is the thingy below the post here, where I listed my truck year, mods performed, and what I want to do someday.

You access this by clicking on the "User CP" button up above, then "Edit Profile", filling in the boxes and submitting.

Whatever happened with them it must have been pretty ugly. If this is just flat out a bad idea, us newbies would sure appreciate a straight answer. On the flip side if anyone out there has used these newer boxes and had good experiences, I'd like to know.

They did send me another, but I sent it right back. They should have got it yesterday, so I expect a refund very soon, I mean better get a refund very soon. I will be nice and not ask for the return shipping on both boxes that I had to pay.

I've got a buddy who has been using the 100hp chip. Hooks up in 2 minutes, very smooth and very fast. He's had it on for 30,000 miles without a problem. Just my tidbit.

He's got an 04 HO, no mods no gauges. I think I might put it on mine and see what the egts are like.

Also check boost. I've heard of this box stacking with something,..I think maybe TST and it worked great according to the post and lowered the EGTs into the manageable area.

The tech I spoke with claimed that they don't raise pressure above 24,000 which is stock levels I think. He told me they manipulate when the injector is opened and how and they change the plume. What the heck is plume? When the injector is opened is timing, right?

They also claim that this box will lower egt's, which no pressure box can do. He also said on their stage 3 and 4 boxes they add duration, like the TST.

I got my eye on that stage 2 unit so I can catch up to you HO and 600 guys
