You can download updates and shift programs on the fly with the TD.

You can use the triple dog across different MFG's, ie Dodge, Ford, and Chevy.

The Outlook Monitor won't defuel with the PP either, you have to have a Triple Dog to get the full functionality of the Outlook Monitor - I am assuming that is why they package them together, because you will need them both.

my dealer was implying the TD and PP had different programs, but I would assume that is SOTP, it's hard to imply that BD would go thru the effort to build/test 2 different software programs for the 3 levels on each box.

in early 05 i purchased the powerpup with the outlook. the outlook defueled when the egts went past my warning level. i sent it back around may for the crazy larry version. it still worked fine and defueled when the egts went past my warning. it would be on 100% and then when egts got to hot it would start chopping fueling by going to 75% then 50% then 25% then 0%. i sent both the outlook and power pup in around january of 06 and got the triple dog with outlook. it cost me 100$ to upgrade from bullydog. you can update the triple dog via bullydogs website. or if you know someone or a bullydog dealer that has the latest greatest version they can e-mail it to you. i know the powerpup outlook will not work with the triple dog, and the tripledog outlook will not work with the power pup. but the original outlook with the powerpup will defuel. i would get the triple dog just because of the updates

that's the scary part of BullyDog - they have no idea what software they are shipping - or the interoperability of their equipment

the owners manual with the Outlook i have says it won't.
and it only hints at the lack of interoperability between the PP & TD outlooks.

my local dealer has to send the new ones back because they sometimes have the old SW version on power up.

I called Bullydog and they gave me the HP on the different settings. The tow setting is 54HP, performance 78hp, extreme 140 and crazy larry is 180hp. With the triple dog DL you can adjust on the fly without the outlook monitor and the power pup needs the outlook monitor to adjust on the fly.
