The owners manual for the Bully Dog Power Pup (not Tripple Dog) doesn't say anything about how the horsepower and torque is achieved for each setting. Bully Dog's web site doesn't have anything either.

So...

For each of the 3 settings (tow, performance, extreme), how does the Power Pup make horsepower?

Example: To get the 50-70hp in the "Tow" mode, the box changes/adjusts the following: A, B, and C.

How could these changes affect the lifespan of some of the engine components? (i.e.: Increased fuel pressure is harder on the lift pump and injectors. You can expect to get xx,xxx amount less miles on these parts)

I'm still new to all this and trying to learn quickly, so please be easy on me
