Not a member (that I know of), but he's up in Matt's neck of the woods...

1.6X 60' 4X4 3rdHI 285s <500HP Valair single ([tapdshut]) 12.9X quarters

XLR8R 11-15-2008 11:41 AM

p.s. Jason, that 1st gear change is killing your 60'!

With that clutch and tire size, you should be coming out of the hole in 3rd... at least 2500RPM.

You're easily leaving a couple tenths on the table...
(Don't make me get Nelson to show you how! [nonono])

Oh yeah................. [guitar]

I know next year I am going double disc and 3rd gear out of the hole. I shift during the 60' which really kills the holeshot.

Rowing in the autos..... 1 shift at a time. [laugh]

Nah, just moved it over to Comp D, more interest in performance over there anyway. http://www.competitiondiesel.com/for...ad.php?t=40659

I was hoping to leave this thread in the 3rd gen performance section as it is frequently viewed by drag racers.
