Did you cut the cross member to get the cam out?

hey wuz up christian?

sorry dude.... I have been crazy busy , the drd header pipe , I promised will be coming soon in a box to your shop ......

BTW whats the easy way ?

FYI I also dropped my transmission as well , just had it freshened up again by HTS it's on the way back from michigan this very moment , will be installing back into truck next week !

I am getting ready for the famosa bakersfield diesel drag event going to try for a decent 1/4 mile run , on old low tread street tires LOL.........I also plan on hitting the rollers with just smarty alone and some small fluxs , we will see what this setup can do ? please stay tuned for pics and dyno sheets & 1/4 mile time slips .

this will be a good test to see how quick down the track with a smarty alone can power my LWB 4x4 QC fully loaded with everything in it including me LOL...

can't wait to find out how much power we can dyno, with the small set of fluxs , dual cp3s , 62/71/13ss - S480 MPI twin set & a SMARTY programmer alone , without any other help , all by its self , no other programming of any kind , no TST ,no mp8 , no water , no nos , just z SMARTY on #2 only

contingent on the transmission getting here on time from HTS !

Leaving the motor in place, unbolting the lower front cross member, sliding it all the way to the drivers side (tap it with a hammer), and cutting the top of the member off inline with the oval hole...cam slides right out then with the gear on.

Desert,

5th gear pinned is short and few between up here...

33 mph average...78.2 mph top speed....102 miles in 3 hours and change.

At the end of the mass start straightaway...was 5th going through the control gate...by 5 mile sin passed Scott Fisher (he was 2nd overall I think with his brother in the last BITD team race with his brother) and then pased David Kamo (represented the US in last years ISDE in Chile and was 3rd in the first Hare & Hound behind Pearson and Abbott). Held first place till 20 or so mile sin...slammed into a rock...tipped over...back to 3rd...

Held 3rd till 60 miles...then the untrained under ridden reality set in (I have not ridden my bike once since a big crash in Novemeber till this race)...and a lsipped a few spots before the finish. No skin left on my hands...a little po'd about the 6th overall finsish, buut got to enjoy those post race/war barley pops sitting in the beautiful Murphy/Oreana area!

They are dead meat in March!
