P0513 Code Please Help!

My ABS light and brake light keep flashing and beep! What is this code and what do I need to do to fix it?

You have an issue with your Sim Key. You need to get your factory anti theft unit looked at.

Do you have an aftermarket remote starter? Mine throws that code on occasion when its running without the key in the ignition. My truck is an 07 but is almost identical to what my 06 was. It won't hurt anything to drive it. Try doing the three key cycle thing to read the codes and it should clear. Hope that helps.

Anyone have any input on this? My truck just started doing the same thing, ABS light and brake light flashing and chime going off. Seems to be somewhat erratic, will go off for a while then suddenly stop for 5 minutes or so then start up again. Hasn't affected driving, just annoying.

GENERAL NETWORK ERROR
KEY NOT PROGRAMMED
INCORRECT KEY
INCORRECT VIN IN ECM OR SKIM
LOSS OF COMMUNICATION BETWEEN ECM AND SKIM

Bout the only thing you can do is unplug the ECM connectors and check for corrosion, and clean if necessary.

Everything else, the dealer will have to check with a Star Scan.

Mine did this code for a while but I never had the flashing lights. It will clear itself after some amount of starts (50 I think).

This is very common if you have a remote starter installed and the installer didn't isolate the mux wire. Throws a tonne of things loopy.
