Ordering Gauges Today - Quick Question

I am ordering some gauges from a local shop today, but I have a quick question. If I don't get a "boost bolt" type fitting, will I have to drill/tap the intake manifold or is there something easily made to simulate the boost bolt?

I will order it from diesel manor if I have to because I'd rather not have to drill/tap the intake... I can't tell from the pic what the male end threads are.

The gauges are the Autometer Phantom II EGT, 0-60 psi Boost and Trans Temp in an a-arm triple pod. Anything else I'm missing or I should know for the install? I guess other than a 1/4" tap for the EGT probe (pre-turbo of course).

Thanks

David includes the boost bolt with all his guage kits, use it - quick and easy.

I would do the boost bolt also. I'm new to the cummins thing and even I did it myself quick and easy with the Autometer gauge.

the boost bolt is easy to use and quicker then drill and tap. the only other thing you should need are zip-ties lots.

Thanks guys, I'll order one tomorrow.

The local speedshop gave me a hell of a deal on the gauges, even better than Dieselmanor, but they won't be here for a month... guess its gonna be another month of babying it [verymad]

The boost bolt is by far the easiest and quickest way to hook the gauge up!

I just figured out how to search the member's galleries and managed to find a pic of them.

You guys think these are going to be too bright at night? Maybe I should have got the dimmer too... I've never had Autometers that were LED lit before, my old Ultra-lites seemed far less bright.
