Ordered 22.5's

I got these off Ebay and the adapters from David @ The Dually Stop. My buddy found 6 slightly used Michelin tires in a 255/80-22.5 for $150 each. I think they will be too big though.

I should be pimpin some bigs wheels in a week or so.

Those will look great. ? though you got a manual trans or auto? and do you have enough power to turn them over? Not to be smart, but I rode in a Ford with very few power mods with 22.5"s and it was a dog 0-60 in 1/2hour, had no power and was no fun to drive.

I have the G56. That's why I was afraid to run the 255/80's. They are 38" tall.

XZT is the only power adder.

I guess we'll find out soon.At least I won't have $6K wrapped up in these things.

Installed them today. Got the Sumitomo 908s. Just needs caps and wider rear fenders now.

Pics when they get approved:

Looking good. If you don't mind, what did the total package run?

With the G-56 you should be riiiiight in the groove RPM wise. They rev higher than necessary on stock tires anyway...

Can you get flares for dually fenders? Those stick out there. They are sweet lookin though. Any rubbing in the front? BTW, you did good!

I forget who sells them, but somebody makes wider dually fenders.

They fit OK. The only place the fronts rub is on the front mudflaps, slightly. I only have the 2" spacers in front. Maybe will do the plow springs too.

I saw the wider fenders on chromewheel.com. I'm a little nervous about dealing with them though.

I wonder how much block sanding those would require?
