which one???
which one???
what box is better predator or the edge ez i kinda like the adjustments on the ez but but ok blonde i don know?? tow a 8000lb trailer and want to keep egt down and still take it in for waranty if i have to
I like my EZ. It can be easily removed, if needed, and the adjustability is nice. If you're going to tow, and you don't have any guages, it is recommended that you use setting 1 or 2 because your EGTs may get too high on 3 or 4. I, personally, have towed on 3 and 4 with no guages and had no problems.
As far as which one is better, it's just a matter of preference. Most people here have probably only used one box so their opinion may be biased. Me included.

I like my Predator too. It's pretty strong down low and works real smooth, no surging issues so far. Real easy install, about 2 minutes. DO NOT try to use the stage 2 without EGT gage because towing up hill you can exceed 1300° pretty quickly. I've been able to pull 6-7% grades at 60mph to keep the temp in check.
why dont you look at the bullydog as well, it is adjustable in cab, and has more power than the ez for the same $. i towed 7k over the mountains and never had any problem with egt's. just my .02
